In a spectacular encounter full of twists, goals, and grit, Calverton Miners Welfare’s unbeaten run was put to the test as they were held to an exhilarating 4–4 draw by a spirited Ravenshead Reds FC side.

First Half

Calverton began in dominant fashion, showcasing the free-flowing football that has made them the team to beat this season. Early pressure paid off when Calvo slotted home after just 10 minutes, followed by a superb finish from to make it 2–0 inside 20 minutes.

However, Ravenshead Reds refused to lie down. Just before the break, the visitors capitalized on a defensive lapse, pulling one back to make it 2–1 at half-time.

Second Half

The Reds came out flying after the restart, turning the game on its head with two quick goals — suddenly leading 3–2 and silencing the home crowd.

Calverton, showing the resilience that has defined their unbeaten campaign, equalised through a powerful header off a corner to make it 3–3, before regaining the lead with a composed finish by , pushing the score to 4–3.

Just when it seemed the Miners would extend their perfect record, Ravenshead struck late. A scrappy goal in stoppage time ensured the points were shared, with the match finishing 4–4 after a breathless 90 minutes.
