Today was our last friendly against a good team who we meet again in a fortnight in the league.

After some tough battles in recent weeks I told the boys i wanted to use this game to relax and enjoy our football. I think we took it a bit too literally.

Couple of factors went against us today and we had to change things up but that happens in football and we need to be able to stand up to that.

West bridgford played good football, worked harder and wanted it more than us as a whole today and got a deserved win. Fair play to MOM Sam who made countless saves including a penalty!

I’m not going to dwell on it though, it was one of those days and the boys are young, it will happen. This should give us the kick we need to refocus and get ready for our first Saturday Premier division league game next week.

Heads up, roll our sleeves up and move on. Have a great weekend and thanks for the support guys.
