Hucknall 0-14 Ravenshead (A)
The first of a double header against Hucknall was the backdrop of today’s match. A brisk cold chill in the air was swiftly diminished by the heat the ladies brought on the pitch. The girls were on fire today and from the start dominated every aspect of the game. We saw some great performances all over the pitch today which culminated in speak very good passing moves, brave tackles, great positioning when the other team bunched up which led to finding space and the ability to create chance after chance. Goalscorers across the team today with Lilah scoring 7, Roq with 4, Scarlett with 2 and our player of the match Wini who got her first goal.
Not only her goal but through the game Wini worked very hard, challenging their players and some very good passing moves getting us up the pitch faster. I can see the confidence oozing from her. Well done.
Next week is the quarter finals of the cup against Hucknall again.
This will be a home match however will likely be at Jo Whit as there is no space at Ravenshead. This will be confirmed asap for everyone when we know.
